The highlight should have been the site's second Lesser Yellowlegs in the Bight late morning, unfortunately others were not given the opportunity to enjoy this transatlantic arrival. Wader counts included 237 Redshank, 109 Ringed Plover, 60+ Dunlin, 15+ Bar and eight Black-tailed Godwit, seven Turnstone, four Common Sandpiper and a Greenshank. Elsewhere the juvenile Red-backed Shrike was still on Warren Point, the male Redstart was along the Back Path, the Slavonian Grebe was in the estuary and overhead there were 16 Jackdaw and two Grey Wagtail.
