Sunday 25th May
Despite the lack of rain and constant distant horizon, seawatching proved rewarding with two Pomarine, a Great and five Arctic Skua, at least two Storm Petrel, an Arctic Tern, 140 Kittiwake, c40 Manx Shearwater, two Great Northern and a Red-throated Diver during the day. Elsewhere wader counts included 132 Sanderling, 23 Dunlin, seven Whimbrel and five Ringed Plover, whilst an Osprey was again in the estuary and a Hobby flew west.
