Yesterday's vismig was repeated with 690 Chaffinch heading NE along the ridge before 9.30, with them around 20 Goldfinch, eight Rook, five Jackdaw and a Siskin. Counts from the estuary included 1070 Dunlin, 33 Turnstone, 31 Bar and eight Black-tailed Godwit, 27 Knot, 20 Grey and eight Ringed Plover, 19 Sanderling, two Pintail and a Wigeon. Elsewhere the Long-tailed Duck remains off John's Watch, a Dartford Warbler was on Warren Neck and a Sandwich Tern was on a sandbar offshore.
