A large arrival of waders with birds moving through all day, peak counts included 302 Dunlin, 96 Sanderling, 31 Ringed Plover, 22 Turnstone, three Bar-tailed Godwit,10 Whimbrel, three Grey Plover, a Knot and a late Redshank. Elsewhere three Little and two Common Tern were offshore with 14 Sandwich Tern, the Pale-bellied Brent was in the estuary, two Great Northern Diver flew south, a Tree Pipit was overhead and the first couple of fledged Stonechat were by the Main Pond.
