The long staying but elusive Wryneck showed briefly on Warren Point this morning, with four Wheatear the only other passerine migrants. The overnight rain and mist did however deliver two Ruff into the Bight over the morning high tide to join the four Little Stint, 380+ Dunlin, 146+ Ringed Plover, c35 Knot and 34+ Sanderling. Also in the estuary 240+ Redshank, 36 Wigeon, 17 Common Tern, 10 Teal, four Greenshank, a Common Sandpiper and the Slavonian Grebe. Elsewhere an Arctic Skua and a first year Yellow-legged Gull were offshore.
