Tuesday 13th September
An evening visit saw the waders in the Bight disturbed by a couple of helicopters and a Spitfire, but amongst the Dunlin and Ringed Plover at least two Little Stint were still present, whilst amongst the Redshank there was a single Ruff, at least two Greenshank and two Black-tailed Godwit. Also in the estuary 310+ Wigeon, 120+ Teal and the Slavonian Grebe. Elsewhere a Whinchat was in bushes behind the hide and three Wheatear were in the Bight.
