Monday 11th September

The strong winds were a bit too westerly to produce birds this far up Lyme Bay but the first hour of daylight saw 200 Gannet, a couple of Manx Shearwater, a Great Skua and a single Storm Petrel before things went quiet. Later in the day 170+ Redshank, 37 Mute Swan, 15 Bar-tailed Godwit and the Slavonian Grebe were off Cockwood and 30+ Sandwich and a Common Tern were offshore.
