A late afternoon look from Cockwood Steps saw 120 Bar-tailed Godwit, 10 Great Crested Grebe, four Red-breasted Merganser, two Greenshank and the Sandwich Tern in the Recording Area, with the pair of Goldeneye and a Great Northern Diver north of the area off Starcross.
As dusk fell some of the local corvids unusually gathered on Bull Hill before heading to roost with 140+ Rook, c80 Carrion Crow and c40 Jackdaw all present.
