Estuary counts over the morning high tide included 90 Black-headed and eight Mediterranean Gull, 45 Whimbrel, 23 Dunlin, 19 Sanderling, 18 Turnstone, 17 Ringed Plover, a good tally of 14 Common Sandpiper, 10 Greenshank and the six Eider.
