Another busy evening high tide with an adult Roseate Tern and a juvenile Little Tern joining c200 Common and 40 Sandwich Tern around The Bight, with eight Mediterranean and three 1CY Yellow-legged Gull.
Minimum wader counts included 738 Dunlin, 505 Ringed Plover, 20 Knot, eight Greenshank, eight Sanderling, two Bar-tailed Godwit, two Turnstone and a Grey Plover.
Elsewhere a Yellow Wagtail was on the Golf Course, the first Pintail of the year flew in off late evening when a flock of 16 Grey Heron flew NE over the reserve.

Ringing News: A Norwegian ringed Ringed Plover hinted at the source of the high tide influx, with another juvenile Dutch Common Tern.
