Counts from The Bight over the low high tide included 130 Oystercatcher, 34 Sanderling, 11 Ringed Plover, nine Dunlin and three Bar-tailed Godwit.
Seawatching produced 121 Manx Shearwater, 15 Sandwich Tern, 13 Common Scoter, at least nine Mediterranean Gull, an adult and eight 2cy, six Great Northern Diver and a dark phase Arctic Skua, with a Pomarine Skua also reported.
Elsewhere a Kingfisher was at the Main Pond, 25 Swallow flew through in ones and twos and at least three pairs of Stonechat were feeding fledged young.
Other Wildlife: Two new species for the Recording Area were found today, the rove beetle Aleochara bipustulata, a common and widespread species and an unexpected Cornflower that has appeared along the path from the car park.

New sightings for the year included Birch Catkin Bug Kleidocerys resedae, Three-banded Mason-wasp Ancistrocerus trifasciatus and Dune Chafer Anomala dubia.
