The Rose-coloured Starling remained elusive in bramble around the car park but other grounded migrants were in short supply, overhead though there were 10 Grey Wagtail, 100+ Meadow and a Tree Pipit. Elsewhere the first three Brent Geese of the autumn made an early return with a Curlew Sandpiper also in the estuary, offshore the juvenile Roseate Tern was again present with at least five Arctic and a Black Tern, a Red-throated Diver and heading south a minimum of 38 Balearic Shearwater and a Hobby.
