A third calendar year (2nd sum) Roseate Tern (Irish ringed) roosted on the shore of the Bight in wet conditions this evening. Also present over 50 Mediterranean Gull (three German ringed), 11 Common and a smart adult Arctic Tern.
Elsewhere a Balearic Shearwater flew south and wader counts included 46 Redshank, five Turnstone, two Whimbrel, two Greenshank, two Grey and two Ringed Plover, two Bar and a Black-tailed Godwit.
Wildlife News: A pod of around eight Common Dolphin were offshore.
