The afternoon tide saw a substantial increase in waders with 318 Dunlin and 140+ Sanderling present along with 18 Ringed Plover, 12 Whimbrel, 11 Bar-tailed Godwit, seven Turnstone and three Curlew. Elsewhere 38 Manx Shearwater, 29 Sandwich Tern, six Common Scoter and four Great-crested Grebe were offshore and three Wheatear were in front of the hide.
