Small numbers of 'Commic' Tern were heading across the bay at distance and at least 90 mixed Dunlin and Ringed Plover flew out of the estuary and continued strongly south.
Elsewhere an immature Peregrine was attacking terns in estuary, a Coal Tit was on site and offsite an Osprey was seen carrying a fish across the estuary.

This only the second site record of Latticed Heath following one in August last year and just the 12th Devon record since 2000, three trapped overnight in Dawlish being the 11th.
