Counts from the estuary included 240 Ringed Plover, 160 Dunlin, 125 Sandwich and 103 Common Tern, 31 Whimbrel, 10 Greenshank, 10 Sanderling, nine Knot, eight Mediterranean Gull, two Grey Plover, two Turnstone and a Bar-tailed Godwit.
