The first (and only?) Cuckoo of the year flew though the Entrance Bushes early morning with other migrants including the first two Spotted Flycatcher of the year, and two Yellow Wagtail overhead. Elsewhere a Pale-bellied Brent Goose was offshore and counts from the estuary included 55 Dunlin, 18 Whimbrel, 16 Turnstone, 14 Bar-tailed Godwit, seven Ringed and two Grey Plover.
