Wildlife News: More appropriate records for the weather came from the fungi kingdom, an afternoon search revealed five new species for the Recording Area, all micro fungi on dead reeds or lichen. Larger species recorded included Frosty Bonnet Mycena tenerrima and Scurfy Twiglet Tubaria furfuracea, with Dodder a plant highlight.
