Counts from the estuary and beach included 266 Oystercatcher, 56 Sanderling, 34 Ringed and five Grey Plover, 21 Dunlin, five Bar-tailed Godwit, four Whimbrel and the Dark-bellied Brent Goose. Elsewhere a Hobby gave a beautiful fly past and a single Coal Tit was the only non breeder in the bushes.
Wildlife News: On Warren Point the small colony of Pyramidal Orchid has risen to 17 flowering plants this year. Again few insects with a single Black-tailed Skimmer and Red Admiral the most notable.
