A Red Kite in heavy wing moult that flew over the carpark heading inland was a highlight, with at least 43 Mediterranean Gull, mainly adults, and 12 Sandwich Tern on a sandbar offshore and two Little Grebe on the Main Pond.

Wildlife News: The nationally scarce wasp Red-banded wasp-cuckoo Nysson dimidiatus was found at the Cuckoo's Nest amongst the Bee-wolf.

The first Marbled White of the year was along the railway at Langstone Rock with numbers of Small White and Gatekeeper continuing to build, a couple of Red Admiral and a Holly Blue were along the Back Path.
