Early morning seawatching saw at least 35 Balearic Shearwater and 96 Gannet head south in 1hr 20mins, most very distant, with more shearwater sp beyond them. Also offshore 175 Sandwich Tern leaving the estuary from dawn to forage, with two Great Crested Grebe, a Peregrine and a Common Scoter

The Little Stint was again present in The Bight over the morning high tide with 753 Oystercatcher, 75 Ringed Plover, 37 Dunlin, two Sanderling, a Turnstone and a Grey Plover. Counts from elsewhere in the estuary included 274 Curlew, 178 Redshank, 48 Whimbrel, 11 Greenshank, six Eider, five Bar-tailed Godwit, three Mediterranean Gull and a Common Scoter.
 
Elsewhere four Swift and a juvenile Hobby flew west, with 10 Chiffchaff, four Blackcap, two Willow Warbler and single WheatearWhitethroatGarden and Reed Warbler on site.
