An adult Spoonbill, just the second record this year, was a new arrival on Finger Point over the morning high tide, although it may only have travelled down river.

Three Little Ringed Plover, an adult and two juveniles in the estuary, included a couple of new birds with counts including 109 Ringed Plover, 47 Dunlin, 41 Sandwich and 12 Common Tern, 14 Shelduck, 12 Greenshank, six Bar-tailed Godwit and single Grey Plover, Sanderling and Turnstone.

Elsewhere the first Whinchat of the year, a juvenile, on Warren Point was the pick of very few passerine migrants.
