Single Spotted Flycatcher and Garden Warbler showed signs of continued migration but away from the estuary they were lone arrivals. Estuary counts included 190 Sanderling, 74+ Dunlin, 62 Ringed Plover, nine Turnstone, nine Whimbrel, seven Grey Plover and a Bar-tailed Godwit. Elsewhere  the first summer Little Gull, 78+ Kittiwake, 29+ Sandwich Tern and a Red-throated Diver were offshore.
