Counts from the estuary included 1045 Oystercatcher, 449 Curlew, 451 Dunlin, 236 Redshank, 199 Ringed Plover, 30 Common and 22 Sandwich Tern, six Greenshank, six Mediterranean Gull, five Whimbrel, the Slavonian Grebe and single Knot, Grey Plover, Black-tailed Godwit and Common Sandpiper.
