The drop in temperature saw an increase in wildfowl with four Pintail and two Shoveler amongst 384 Teal and 362 Wigeon. Other counts included 1200 Dunlin, 58 Shelduck, 53 Knot, 44 Bar-tailed Godwit, 43 Grey and 39 Ringed Plover, 19 Turnstone, 12 Greenshank and single Red-breasted Merganser, Razorbill and Kingfisher.

Elsewhere a pre roost flock of 81 Carrion Crow and six Jackdaw diverted from the mainland and landed on Finger Point late afternoon, a Cetti's Warbler was behind the Visitor Centre, with the male Shoveler on the Main Pond and three Goldcrest, two Chiffchaff and two Redwing in the bushes.

Three immature male Eider were off Langstone Rock with single Great Northern and Red-throated Diver also offshore.
