Counts from The Bight at high tide included 161 Grey Plover, 121 Bar-tailed Godwit and 111 Knot all winter peaks, along with 23 Ringed Plover, 12 Shag, seven Red-breasted Merganser and a Great Northern Diver.
Elsewhere five Great Northern Diver and three Eider were offshore, a pair of Shoveler were on the Main Pond and two Chiffchaff and a Goldcrest were in the bushes.
Ringing News: After yesterday's catch a total of 79 colour-ringed Dunlin were recorded, the vast majority first controls! The Oystercatcher ringed yesterday was also again present.
Wildlife News: A female Grey Seal was in the estuary and the Grey Squirrel was in the Turkey Oaks on the Golf Course.
