The Rose-coloured Starling remained elusive in bramble around the car park with 18 Chiffchaff, nine Blackcap, two Whitethroat and single Reed Warbler, Wheatear and Spotted Flycatcher overhead there were 80+ Meadow Pipit and seven Grey Wagtail. Elsewhere 236 Wigeon, 142 Redshank, 76 Dunlin, four Brent Geese with two Curlew Sandpiper, a Knot, a Lapwing and the Slavonian Grebe also in the estuary, offshore an eclipse drake Eider was only the second for the year, with 55 Common Scoter, at least two Arctic Tern and two Red-throated Diver, winter & summer plumaged birds.
