Offshore the highlight was a Hobby south with 10 Balearic Shearwater, two Arctic Skua and a Yellow-legged Gull also heading south with two Red-throated Diver, three Common, a Black and at least one Little Tern lingering. Counts over the high tide included 1670 Oystercatcher, 354 Wigeon, 202 Great Black-backed Gull, 135 Dunlin, c30 Bar and 22 Black-tailed Godwit, 90 Ringed Plover and 23 Sanderling with 498 Canada Geese, four Mediterranean Gull, a Greenshank and the Slavonian Grebe also in the estuary. Elsewhere 11 Wheatear were on site with a Spotted Flycatcher, single Willow, Garden, Sedge and Reed Warbler whilst c70 Meadow Pipit and three Grey Wagtail were overhead.
