A juvenile Marsh Harrier heading north east mid morning was the highlight, although it was more over Exmouth than the Warren. In the estuary there was a Curlew Sandpiper with c80 Dunlin, 71 Ringed Plover and seven Knot, with 92 Great Black-backed Gull, 62 Sandwich Tern, 26 Teal, five Wigeon and a Mediterranean Gull. Elsewhere a Black Tern and two Red-throated Diver were offshore, grounded migrants included a Spotted Flycatcher, 24 Chiffchaff, nine Wheatear, five Willow, three Reed and a Sedge Warbler with five Grey Wagtail and the first Meadow Pipit of the autumn were overhead.
