A tidal visit concentrating on ring reading was very productive with 33 different reads in addition to the DCWRG Oystercatcher. Twenty were Dunlin, also from the Exe Estuary project, three were old Exe ringed Oystercatcher, one from 1997, an Axe Estuary Shelduck and a Portland Great Black-backed Gull. Birds from further afield included a Swedish Turnstone, a German Ringed Plover and a German Common Gull.
