Similar passage offshore to first thing yesterday morning with 81 Kittiwake, 51 Gannet, 12 Common Scoter, nine Red-throated and two Great Northern Diver SW during a 1.25 hour seawatch along with 269 auk sp, more Razorbill than Guillemot.
Counts from the estuary included 684 Wigeon, 361 Teal, 167 Bar and a Black-tailed Godwit, 159 Redshank, 148 Knot, 139 Grey and 19 Ringed Plover, 108 Common Gull, 75 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, the flock of eight Eider, five Greenshank, four Red-breasted Merganser and an argentatus Scandinavian Herring Gull dropped into Finger Point briefly, the first record of this rare winter visitor since 31 December 2014.
Elsewhere a Firecrest was in the Buffer Zone, four Shoveler were on the ponds, three Goldcrest and two Chiffchaff were in the bushes and a Jack Snipe was in Greenland Lake.
Other Wildlife: A Buff-tailed Bumblebee was active on the Golf Course.
