Counts from The Bight at high tide included 190 Oystercatcher, 73 Sanderling, eight Dunlin, the three red Knot, two Whimbrel and a Turnstone.

Other Wildlife: A new species for the Recording Area, an aphid hunting wasp Passaloecus singularis was found in Greenland Lake with other hymenoptera including the first Common Yellow-faced Bee Hylaeus communis and Vestal Cuckoo Bumblebee of the year.

Five odonata species around the Main Pond included at least four Red-eyed Damselfly, with other insects on the wing including Band-eyed Brown Horsefly Tabanus bromius and just five butterfly species.
