At least 27 Mediterranean Gull (15 2cy, nine ad & three 3cy), nine Sandwich Tern and four Manx Shearwater were offshore early morning with over 50 Swift overhead heading south.
Counts from the estuary included 29 Curlew, six Whimbrel, four Bar-tailed Godwit, three Grey Plover and single Dunlin, Redshank, Sanderling and Common Tern.

Other Wildlife: A single Painted Lady and an increase in Marmalade Hoverfly showed signs of insect migration, with Marbled White and Golden-ringed Dragonfly also on the wing. The first Broad-barred White for 20 years was attracted overnight to the resort's light pollution.
