An evening visit after the rain saw 50+ Manx Shearwater, eight Common Scoter and a Fulmar head south offshore with two Great Northern Diver on the sea with 10 Sandwich Tern, 34 Black-headed and six Mediterranean Gull (five ad & a 2cy) head into the estuary.
Elsewhere 20 Swift were overhead and roost counts from the high tide included 21 Sanderling, 20 Dunlin, nine Ringed and four Grey Plover, six Curlew, four Whimbrel, three Bar-tailed Godwit and a Knot.
