Migrants were again largely conspicuous by their absence with single extra single male Blackcap and Reed Warbler in the bushes the only arrivals. Overhead nine Swift and single House Martin and Swallow.
Elsewhere 14 Common Scoter, five Manx Shearwater, four Great Northern Diver, three Sandwich Tern and the immature male Eider were offshore and 23 Whimbrel and four Bar-tailed Godwit were in the estuary at low tide.
